Civil Structural Engineer - Mid, Senior & Principal Levels

Join ENERCON as a Civil Structural Design or Civil Structural Project Engineer. We are seeking talented Civil Structural Engineers at all experience levels, from early-career professionals to accomplished principal engineers. Available roles may be full-time, part-time, or temporary. Divisions you could work for include:

Responsibilities
As a key member of our engineering team, you will engage in meaningful and impactful work, such as:
- Performing detailed analysis and design of critical structures and components.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet safety and regulatory requirements, including seismic and environmental standards.
- Evaluating proposed plant modifications to uphold safety and compliance.
- Preparing technical reports, design calculations, and specifications while communicating findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborating across disciplines to ensure smooth coordination and integration of designs.
- Leading design initiatives, developing project scopes, and producing engineering estimates.
- Innovating solutions for complex technical challenges.
- Participating in field operations, including travel for site walkdowns, field installations, and system start-ups.
- Leading and motivating teams to achieve ambitious goals.
Requirements
This posting covers a range of experience levels. Minimum qualifications for our mid-level position include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with design of civil structural systems.
- Experience in one of the following industries is highly preferred: engineering/design services, power generation, nuclear power, heavy industrial (including chemical or pulp & paper), and government (DOE) projects.
- Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work as an individual contributor and in teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Senior Engineers typically have 7 years of post-graduate experience, while Principal Engineers typically have 10 years of post-graduate experience. Some roles may require U.S. citizenship due to federal contract requirements.
Pay
Compensation range: USD $90,000.00 – USD $180,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, geographic location, and internal equity. Some positions may be performed remotely in one or more U.S. states.
