Civil Staff Engineer II - Land Development
About the role

We’re looking for a Civil Staff Engineer - Land Development who’s ready to take on more ownership, expand their technical impact, and work across both Land Development and Water/Wastewater projects.
Responsibilities
- Influence how projects are planned and executed
- Work directly with clients and municipalities
- See your work move from concept → construction → real-world impact
- Work alongside experienced engineers to support your development
- Guide junior engineers and help elevate the team around you
Requirements
- Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- EIT Required or PE (or ability to obtain soon)
- 3+ years of experience in civil engineering (land development and/or water/wastewater)
- Experience with tools like Civil 3D, StormCAD, WaterCAD (or similar)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
Qualifications
- Ready to move beyond task execution and want more ownership
- Enjoy working across multiple project types instead of being siloed
- Looking for a firm where growth doesn’t take 10+ years
