Responsibilities
- Collect data and gather relevant information and documentation
- Perform standard computations and analyses
- Complete basic design tasks
- Prepare drawings and visual aids
- Absorb and assist with tasks such as preparing permit applications, drawings, and written documents
- Prepare portions of project documentation
- Review and edit specifications
- Conduct research and investigations
- Observe construction activities and field operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
- 0–5 years of civil design experience required; water resources-related experience is a plus
- Knowledge of engineering principles and construction materials related to water resources projects
- Ability to read, interpret, and communicate contract documents, plans, and specifications
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Willingness to travel up to 25% per month
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment, lead tasks, work independently, and remain self-motivated
- Regular and predictable attendance is required

Compensation Package
- Pay Range: $66,000 - $101,800 (DOE)
