Civil Project Manager - Aviation

About the role

Bolton & Menk is seeking an experienced Aviation Engineer/Project Manager to join our team in the Southeast region. This position offers the opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design and construction management for airport projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, fuel systems, vertical infrastructure, NAVAIDS, etc.
• Manage budgets and schedules for assigned airport projects and assist with marketing future clients.
• Serve as a client contact to airport boards and commissions as assigned.
• Manage planning, scheduling, and performance of multiple engineering projects and personnel, both design and construction.
• Prepare and review preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
• Perform business development activities, including client needs research, proposal preparation, etc.
• Coordinate construction administration and monitor documentation requirements with field staff.
• Aid in the training and development of professional and technical staff.
• Develop relationships with regulatory agencies.
• Travel to work sites and other project-related locations as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed Professional Engineer.
• 5+ years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including airport infrastructure.
• Experience with client relationship management and business development.
• Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
