Civil Project Manager - Aviation
About the role
Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for an Aviation Project Manager to join our team in serving our Iowa clients. This role offers the chance to work with a talented team of professionals and make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.
Responsibilities
- Manage planning, scheduling and performance of multiple engineering projects and personnel, both design and construction
- Serve as a client contact to airport boards/commissions and airport clients as assigned
- Review and/or prepare preliminary reports and feasibility studies
- Perform business development activities (client needs, research, proposals, etc.)
- Cook up construction administration and monitor documentation requirements with field staff
- Aid in the training and development of professional and technical staff
- Develop relationships with regulatory agencies
- Travel periodically to work sites and other project related locations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- 5+ years of progressive experience in the civil engineering field
- Experience with client relationship management and business development
- Experience in plan specification development with construction contract administration
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of aviation engineering principles and practices
