Key Responsibilities
- Manage private land development projects from initial planning through final construction.
- Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and staffing plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Cook up with city, county, and regulatory agencies to obtain project approvals and permits.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers, designers, surveyors, and planners.
- Review engineering plans, specifications, and technical reports.
- Monitor project financial performance and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
- Support business development and maintain strong client relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Active California Professional Engineer (PE) License (Required).
- 10+ years of Civil Engineering experience.
- Proven experience managing Private Land Development projects.
- Experience with residential, commercial, mixed-use, or subdivision developments.
- Strong knowledge of California permitting processes and municipal agency coordination.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
