Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients to identify the scope of engineering services required.
- Communicate with Project Manager for project guidance and status.
- Perform accurate analysis and design necessary to fulfill the scope of engineering services.
- Provide cost estimates as required.
- Provide final construction documents conforming to the scope of engineering services for Project Manager’s review and approval.
- Conduct periodic construction site observations and attend project meetings as required by clients.
- Assist with performing monthly billing of clients for work completed.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals.
- Routinely communicate with Principals, Design Group Leaders, Project Managers, CADD technicians, engineering technicians, surveyors, government agencies, contractors, subcontractors, and administrative staff.
- Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1+ years of Civil Engineering experience.
- Certification: EIT required; P.E. is a plus.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient with engineering software including AutoCAD Civil 3D; self-starter.
- Education: BS in Civil Engineering or technical equivalent.
