Civil Project Engineer - Greenville, NC
Essential Functions
- Strong working knowledge of project competency including preliminary engineering reports, new and rehabilitation designs, construction documents and technical specifications, project advertisement, bidding, and contracting.
- Experience with design of water distribution systems and / or sanitary sewer collection.
- Familiarity with federal, state and local agency regulations, primarily concerning municipal water and wastewater projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. Civil/ Environmental Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited program.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Professional Engineer (PE).
- NC licensed Professional Engineer, or the ability to transfer within 1 year.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (365) applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and knowledge of AutoCAD – Civil3D.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong experience with engineering concepts, design, and construction administration and observation water, sewer, and stormwater utility projects.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local agency regulations.
- Experience with hydraulic modeling (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present to clients and plan/ conduct meetings.
- Familiarity with construction administration of municipal utility projects.
