About the role
An established multidisciplinary engineering firm seeks an experienced Bridge Engineer. The position is employee-owned and offers hybrid work options.
Responsibilities
- Support project delivery including scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide construction support, including shop drawing review and responses to RFIs.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment by mentoring junior staff.
- Prepare structural calculations, technical reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Manage multiple assignments with attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Work on projects such as highway bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and related structures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred, or actively pursuing licensure.
- Approximately 5+ years of relevant consulting engineering experience.
- Experience in bridge and transportation structure design, inspection, and/or rehabilitation.
- Strong understanding of structural and bridge design principles and applicable codes and standards.
- Proficiency with structural analysis and design software, as well as engineering drafting tools.
- Familiarity with state DOT standards and procedures.

Pay
$100,000 - $155,000 per year
