Civil Project Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Cover and oversee construction projects from start to finish.
  • Develop and manage project schedules and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust as needed.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Communicate with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Prepare and submit project documentation and reports.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project.
  • Cook with and coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery of materials.
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Facilitate project meetings and discussions.
  • Support the project team in achieving project goals.
  • Monitor and report on project performance.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Civil Project Coordinator or similar role for 10+ years.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, Bluebeam, or Primavera.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills backed by solid technical knowledge.
  • Versatile and service-oriented mindset.
  • Good understanding of safety guidelines.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Technically savvy and computer-literate.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work flexibly and willing to work extensively to meet business needs.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record (required).
  • High level of attention to detail, initiative, problem-solving, personal organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Takes ownership of responsibilities.
  • Strong strategic thinking.
  • Ability to work with project team members, clients, and subcontractors to achieve team goals.
  • Ability to meet contract objectives on time and within budget.
  • Experience in roadways, highways, or heavy civil construction.

Pay

$70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
