Responsibilities
- Cover and oversee construction projects from start to finish.
- Develop and manage project schedules and timelines.
- Monitor project progress and adjust as needed.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Prepare and submit project documentation and reports.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Conduct site visits and inspections.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project.
- Cook with and coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
- Provide regular updates to senior management.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet client expectations.
- Facilitate project meetings and discussions.
- Support the project team in achieving project goals.
- Monitor and report on project performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Civil Project Coordinator or similar role for 10+ years.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, Bluebeam, or Primavera.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills backed by solid technical knowledge.
- Versatile and service-oriented mindset.
- Good understanding of safety guidelines.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Technically savvy and computer-literate.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to work flexibly and willing to work extensively to meet business needs.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record (required).
- High level of attention to detail, initiative, problem-solving, personal organizational, and leadership skills.
- Takes ownership of responsibilities.
- Strong strategic thinking.
- Ability to work with project team members, clients, and subcontractors to achieve team goals.
- Ability to meet contract objectives on time and within budget.
- Experience in roadways, highways, or heavy civil construction.
Pay
$70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
