About the role
We are seeking a Civil Market Leader with 15+ years of professional experience to be part of our Civil Engineering team. This position is open to Dallas, TX.
Responsibilities
- Develop business opportunities
- Maintain industry connections
- Ensure efficient project execution within budget and schedule
- Recruit team members, assign, direct, and evaluate their work
- Foster a high-performing, collaborative team
- Align team capabilities with corporate strategy
- Grow a profitable practice and establish WGI as a regional leader
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related field
- 15 or more years of experience post graduation
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or other professional license as required
- Post graduate business education and/or MBA preferred
Qualifications
- Expertise in marketing services to current and prospective clients
- Ability to confer with management, production, and marketing staff
- Ability to monitor and assist the team in meeting financial goals
- Ability to recruit and develop team members
- Ability to coordinate and mentor Team Leaders
- Ability to prepare budgets, bids, and contracts
- Ability to communicate effectively with the market
- Ability to ensure transparency and accuracy in project execution
- Ability to manage physical demands of the job
