Civil Litigation Attorney
Job Details
Represent public agencies in state and federal litigation involving constitutional claims, torts, land use, environmental issues, and other complex matters.
Draft and argue motions, attend court hearings, and participate in depositions, mediations, and trials.
Provide strategic counsel to public clients on risk management and litigation strategy.
Work closely with city attorneys, general counsel, and agency boards.

Requirements
Must have a JD degree from an accredited law school
Must be licensed to practice law in California
At least 5 years of experience in public agency defense
Experience in civil litigation, including constitutional claims, torts, land use, environmental issues, and other complex matters
Skills

- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
