Civil Litigation Attorney
Job Details
- Represent public agencies in state and federal litigation involving constitutional claims, torts, land use, environmental issues, and other complex matters.
- Draft and argue motions, attend court hearings, and participate in depositions, mediations, and trials.
- Provide strategic counsel to public clients on risk management and litigation strategy.
- Work closely with city attorneys, general counsel, and agency boards.

Requirements
- Strong experience in public agency defense.
- Passionate about making a difference through impactful, high-level work that supports cities, school districts, and special districts.
Qualifications
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in California.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in public agency defense.
Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with legal research and case preparation.

$130,000 - $190,000 per year
