Civil Litigation Attorney

Position Overview

We are looking for a Civil Litigation Attorney to join our General Liability and Auto Defense practice. This position offers remote or hybrid flexibility, with occasional in-person court appearances throughout New York.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload from initial evaluation through settlement or trial.
• Handle all aspects of case management, ensuring deadlines and litigation strategy are effectively maintained.
• Draft and argue motions.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Manage discovery and participate in hearings, arbitrations, and court appearances.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to achieve successful client outcomes.
• Develop litigation strategies and provide practical legal solutions.

Qualifications

• Active admission to the New York State Bar.
• Minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience handling case management, motion practice, and discovery.
• Experience with hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and court appearances.
• Strong analytical, writing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload while working collaboratively with a team.

Compensation

• Salary starting at $100,000, commensurate with experience.
