We are seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to join a growing team serving cities, counties, and public authorities across the state. We are a mid-sized, boutique law firm exclusively serving local and state government entities across Georgia. Our team advises cities, counties, authorities, and public agencies on complex legal matters with a commitment to politically neutral, results-driven counsel. Responsibilities
- Represent local government entities in civil litigation matters including civil rights, employment, contract disputes, tort, and premises liability
- Handle cases across all stages from pre-litigation through trial
- Work alongside experienced government law attorneys on complex, multi-faceted matters governed by local, state, and federal law
- Serve a recession-resistant client base with consistent workflow across economic cycles
Qualifications
- 3 to 12 years of civil litigation experience
- Active and good standing Georgia bar license required
- Strong academic background and written communication skills
- Stable work history preferred
- Local government law experience a plus but not required
Pay
Salary range based on experience and litigation background: $140,000 - $200,000 per year

- Choice of monthly or annual bonus structure based on billable hours, not collections or write-offs
- 1,920 annual billable hour requirement with unlimited PTO
