Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., has been serving consulting engineering needs since 1957, with offices in multiple northeastern states. The firm specializes in transportation engineering, water supply, wastewater management, solid waste management, land planning, and environmental services.

About the role

We are currently seeking a full-time Civil or Environmental Engineer to join our Water Resources (Water/Wastewater) practice in our Hartford, CT office. This position works within project-focused teams and is responsible for civil engineering tasks, engineering report preparation, design calculations, cost estimates, funding applications, production of specifications and design drawings, funding program and permit coordination/compliance, and construction phase engineering.

• Manage and/or provide technical assistance to continually advance projects within scope, budget, and schedule for all phases of water and wastewater projects

Requirements

• B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• 2-8+ years of experience in the analysis and design of municipal water treatment and distribution systems, municipal wastewater collection and treatment systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Registration as an Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) or Professional Engineer (P.E.) in CT is required and experience in the consulting engineering field is desired
• Proficient in technical writing
• Solid marketing and communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively with teammates, staff, and clients
• Experience in the preparation and presentation of proposals

Pay

Estimated Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000/year. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
