About the Role
The Civil Engineering Technologist in the Site Development & Planning division will generate and manage comprehensive construction documents, plan sets, and design packages across various phases of land development. This is a full-time, hourly position paid bi-weekly.

Responsibilities
- Generate and manage comprehensive construction documents, plan sets, and design packages across various phases of land development
- Use computerized design software and other relevant tools to prepare design assignments
- Interpret civil designs to create detailed dimensional drawings and layouts using CAD and GIS software
- Review development applications, building permits, and zoning bylaws to ensure adherence to local ordinances and codes
- Make arithmetic computations using standard civil engineering formulas
- Assist with assembling and modifying standard site development detail sheets
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of Civil Engineering experience, with an emphasis on Texas land development and site design
- Advanced proficiency in the latest versions of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Preferred experience with ArcGIS and Bluebeam Revu
- Understanding of Texas municipal infrastructure design standards, drainage criteria, and site development feasibility
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of team members
