Civil Engineer - Site Development

Responsibilities

• Support site development design including grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control
• Coordinate with design-build contractor (ARCO) and MEP contractor (Kide)
• Review civil drawings and ensure alignment with project requirements and construction needs
• Assist with permitting process including stormwater and erosion control approvals
• Provide construction-phase support and resolve site issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• 3–8 years of experience in site development or industrial projects
• EIT required; PE (NC) preferred or ability to obtain
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Familiar with North Carolina permitting (NCDEQ, local agencies)
• Experience with large-scale site grading and drainage preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Industrial or manufacturing project experience
• Experience working with design-build contractors
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
