Civil Engineering Project Manager – Transportation (Design)
Job Responsibilities
- Lead a project team to ensure quality work
- Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets
- Manage project scope, schedule, and staffing
- Effectively communicate with clients
- Ensure project-specific delivery requirements are met
- Lead project pursuits, secure contract work, negotiate contracts, and provide updates as requested
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and development to staff
- Develop and maintain client and stakeholder relationships
- Collaborate with colleagues and utilize internal resources to continuously enhance professional skills
- Adhere to internal Quality Control processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- 7+ years of relevant experience with multiple years leading projects
- A Professional Engineer (PE) License (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technical competence in developing and managing project budgets
- Knowledge of client standards and Quality Control processes
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to worksites, meetings with clients, and attend conferences
