Civil Engineering Project Manager (PE), Land Development
Halff is seeking a Professional Civil Engineer (PE) to join our expanding Land Development team as a Project Manager out of our Fort Worth, TX office location. In this role, you will lead and manage land development projects, delivering light industrial and office/warehouse developments, as well as commercial and residential subdivisions.

Responsibilities
- Manage projects from planning through delivery, collaborating with project members, multi-practice teams, subconsultants and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, costs and meeting plans are communicated.
- Assist in development and management of project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
- Support in preparation of proposals and RFQs.
- Manage quality assurance and control analysis to ensure projects meet or exceed client expectations and Halff requirements and comply with recognized standards and codes of practice.
- Apply technical expertise appropriately by understanding project specific standards, criteria, deliverables and best practices.
- Monitor project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and identify opportunities to optimize project efficiency and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers, EITs, and technical staff, fostering a culture of trust and collaboration within project team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or ABET accredited equivalent engineering degree.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in the State of Texas.
- 5-10 years of experience, leading and/or supporting land development projects including delivering light industrial and office/warehouse developments, as well as commercial and residential subdivisions.
- Good technical writing and communication skills.
- Must be proficient in project management, administration, and supervision, with a focus on quality, integrity and success.
- Must have technical experience with land development software such as Civil 3D.
- Experience with 2D modeling software packages are beneficial but not required.
- Established client relationships in Dallas/Fort Worth a plus.
