Civil Engineering Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Duties include the creation of proposals, scheduling, and budgeting on energy projects.
• Interact with Client stakeholders and coordinate workload with existing design staff.
• Manage all phases of project execution including project organization, subcontractor/vendor management, scheduling, financial management, health and safety stewardship, and reporting.
• Lead and participate in technical, cost, and scheduling decisions, adhering to company quality standards (including internal quality control and risk management protocols such as peer reviews).
• Drive customer value by overseeing pursuits, designating the appropriate resources to projects, defining client needs, addressing client concerns, and managing engineering resources within budget.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external teams of clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate on a program of design and construction management projects striving for continuous improvement in process development and execution.
• Devise innovative and creative solutions to problems encountered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 7+ years of related experience, 3-4 years project related experience and knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations required.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain PE within 6 months.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
