About the role

As a Civil Engineering Intern - H&H at LJA Land Development, you will explore an entrepreneurial culture that encourages creative problem-solving and daily client engagement. You’ll work under the direction of experienced engineers, shadow operations, support larger projects, and participate in social and learning activities that introduce you to the company’s sectors and services.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering assignments with guidance from experienced engineers
• Shadow actual operations and learn about project phases
• Complete unique assignments that support larger projects while experiencing day-to-day engineering work
• Participate in social engagement activities and learn about LJA’s sectors and services

Requirements

• Completed at least one year of college
• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and high motivation as a student with solid academic performance
• Sincere desire to gain experience in the industry
• Good organizational and communication (oral and written) skills
• Attention to detail with ability to identify discrepancies
• Ability to collaborate and work well in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel
