About the role
The Civil Engineering Intern at CPH will gain practical experience alongside a professional design team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, analysis/calculations, and construction documents.
- Aid in the preparation of permit applications and submittal packages to relevant agencies.
- Coordinate with permitting agencies, utility providers, contractors, and other stakeholders involved in the project.
- Perform periodic site investigations and construction observations.
- Review specifications and shop drawings, prepare inspection reports, and carry out other construction administration tasks.
- Research, interpret, and implement relevant codes and client requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering, or be pursuing a B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
- Able to work 16-20 hours per week throughout the year.
