JPR is a dynamic provider of Architecture & Engineering (A&E) services with projects primarily in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. We offer a broad variety of challenging assignments, allowing you to explore different areas of civil engineering and discover your strengths.
Opportunity
We are seeking motivated Civil Engineering Interns for Summer 2026. This is a hands-on learning opportunity where you will gain exposure to several disciplines, including Water Resources, Structural Engineering, Transportation, Industrial/Commercial & Creative Site Design. You will work alongside experienced engineers and designers, contributing to real projects and learning how your classroom knowledge translates into practical solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Assist project teams with design tasks and project deliverables
- Perform basic analyses, calculations, and modeling using industry-standard software
- Prepare sketches, diagrams, and technical reports
- Review and check detailed drawings and layouts
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple disciplines in a team-oriented environment
What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Sophomore, Junior, or Senior preferred; Freshmen considered)
- Basic knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and contribute in a team setting
- Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines
