Civil Engineering Designer

Responsibilities
- Apply civil engineering concepts to develop solutions to project challenges
- Preparation of construction plans, cost estimates, reports, and other project documents
- Coordination with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permit application
- Preparation of grading plans, profiles, road design, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Research regulatory requirements and design standards
- Perform detailed and complex calculations for storm water facilities, utility systems, and roadway improvements
- Preparation of detailed technical reports and project presentation materials
- Assist project engineers in completing projects in a timely manner and within project budgets
- Attend project meetings

- 1-5+ years of experience in site development design
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Experience with or willingness to learn AutoCAD Civil 3D for site development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office
- A desire and/or ability to work in teams to accomplish shared goals
- Self-motivated with the ability and desire to deliver excellent client service
Work Location
This is an onsite role based out of the following Core States Group offices: Roseville, CA; Bellevue, WA; Kent, WA; Richland, WA; Scottsdale, AZ; Frisco, TX; Bentonville, AR; or Philadelphia, PA.
Pay
This role is paid on an hourly basis with a range of $33.00 - $44.00 and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable laws. The expected approximate annualized compensation range is $70,000 - $90,000.
