Civil Engineer – Water Resources (5-10 years)

About the role

Coffman Engineers is seeking a Civil Engineer with five to ten years of experience in water and wastewater resources to assist in planning and design of municipal civil infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with local AEC community
• Work on a wide range of projects in a collaborative, problem-solving team environment
• Have a solid foundational understanding of planning and design relating to water and wastewater systems
• Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D is preferred but not required
• Experience with Microsoft Office and other design software
• Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
• The ability to work on multiple tasks independently and/or under the supervision of senior staff
• Strong project management skills
• Client management skills
• Team player with the ability to think critically and solve problems
• Experience with water resources planning and design is strongly preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent
• Hawaii Civil Engineer (P.E.) registration required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with a water resources/municipal background
• Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D is preferred but not required
• Experience with Microsoft Office and other design software
• Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills are required
• The ability to work on multiple tasks independently and/or under the supervision of senior staff
• Strong project management skills are required
• Client management skills are required
• Team player with the ability to think critically and solve problems
• Experience with water resources planning and design is strongly preferred

Pay

Expected annual salary of $90,000 - $120,000.
