Civil Engineer – Water Resources (0-5 years)

About the role

Coffman Engineers is seeking a Civil Engineer with zero to five years of experience to assist in the planning and design of municipal civil infrastructure projects, with a focus on water resources (water and wastewater).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and design of municipal civil infrastructure projects, with a focus on water resources (water and wastewater)
• Work on a wide range of projects in a collaborative, problem-solving team environment
• Have a solid foundational understanding of water and wastewater systems (through college coursework or design experience)
• Be enthusiastic, have a desire to work hard, and to have fun!

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent
• 0-5 years of experience in civil municipal design with a water resources/municipal background
• Has successfully passed the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering Exam or have the ability to pass within 6 months of hire
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD
• Experience with Microsoft Office software
• The ability to work on multiple tasks under the supervision of senior staff
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• The motivation to learn the latest technologies and practices to enhance your professional career
• Experience and interest in water resources is preferred

Pay

Expected annual salary of $67,000 - $90,000.
