Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of site development projects, including layout, grading, utilities, erosion and sediment control, and stormwater management
- Manage project tasks, schedules, and budgets to ensure high-quality, on-time, and profitable project delivery
- Prepare and review engineering plans, technical reports, and project documentation
- Cook up and review project proposals, scope definitions, and cost estimates
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and local/state agencies throughout all phases of the project lifecycle—from concept through permitting and construction
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical oversight to junior engineers and designers
Requirements
- 10+ years of Civil Engineering experience
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (or related field) required (ABET accredited)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in West Virginia or ability to gain reciprocity
- Experience managing and leading project teams
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships with active and future clients
- Experience in scope of service and budget (proposal) development, and demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably
