Civil Engineer - Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of site development projects, including layout, grading, utilities, erosion and sediment control, and stormwater management
• Manage project tasks, schedules, and budgets to ensure high-quality, on-time, and profitable project delivery
• Prepare and review engineering plans, technical reports, and project documentation
• Cook up and review project proposals, scope definitions, and cost estimates
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and local/state agencies throughout all phases of the project lifecycle—from concept through permitting and construction
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical oversight to junior engineers and designers

Requirements

• 10+ years of Civil Engineering experience
• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (or related field) required (ABET accredited)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in West Virginia or ability to gain reciprocity
• Experience managing and leading project teams
• Experience developing and maintaining relationships with active and future clients
• Experience in scope of service and budget (proposal) development, and demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably
