Civil Engineer - Project Level

About the role

Join Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) as a Project Engineer in our growing Laurel, Maryland office. You'll play a key role in designing and delivering a diverse range of private land development and water resources projects throughout Prince George's, Anne Arundel, Montgomery, and Howard Counties. You'll work alongside a collaborative team on projects that make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver private land development and water resources projects
• Work on projects from initial planning and site design through permitting and construction documents
• Collaborate with clients and project teams
• Lead multiple projects, manage budgets and schedules, coordinate County reviews, and build strong client relationships
• Manage multiple priorities while working effectively with clients and project teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in private land development, including site plan design, roadway design, permitting, Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC) design, and Stormwater Management (SWM)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license a plus
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• The ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating effectively with clients and project teams
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident (visa sponsorship not available)
