Civil Engineer (PE)

Role Overview

The Civil Professional Engineer (PE) is responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, water systems, and public facilities. This role involves applying advanced engineering principles, ensuring projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards, and delivering sustainable solutions that enhance community infrastructure and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed civil engineering designs, calculations, and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with standards and regulations.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, cost estimates, and construction plans.
• Cook up schedules, budgets, and resources efficiently.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
• Stay updated with industry standards, codes, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; PE license required.
• At least 5 years of civil engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, REVIT, and similar software.
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations.
• Preferred: Master’s degree, project management experience, environmental assessment familiarity, and experience with large-scale projects.
