About the role
You will work with project teams to create permitting and construction plans, earth disturbance permit applications, and municipal zoning and land development applications for our commercial, industrial, energy, institutional, and residential clients. From port facilities to multi-family housing and distribution centers to retail shopping centers, you’ll take part in designing site layouts and grading, erosion and sedimentation controls, storm water management facilities, and site utilities.
Responsibilities
- Work with project teams to create permitting and construction plans, earth disturbance permit applications, and municipal zoning and land development applications for our clients.
- Design site layouts and grading, erosion and sedimentation controls, storm water management facilities, and site utilities.
- Execute projects under the guidance of Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers.
- Interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials.
- Participate in the project team that impacts the whole project - from conceptual and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction, all the way to the grand opening.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Previous internship preferred
- Engineering In Training (EIT) certification preferred
- Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, HydroCAD, or Storm Sewers a plus
