Job Summary
Lead the planning, design, and delivery of stormwater infrastructure projects. Serve as a trusted technical resource, coordinate across disciplines, mentor developing engineers, and build lasting client relationships while helping communities prepare for future growth.
What You'll Do
- Lead the planning, design, and delivery of stormwater infrastructure projects.
- Perform technical design for stormwater conveyance systems, detention and retention facilities, roadway drainage, bridge hydraulics, floodplain management, and water quality improvements.
- Lead engineering projects including budgeting, scheduling, coordination, quality assurance, and client communication.
- Cookordination multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality projects on schedule and within budget.
- Prepare and review technical studies, reports, calculations, specifications, and engineering documents.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and technical excellence throughout project delivery.
- Support business development through proposal preparation, scope development, and fee estimates.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continued growth of GBA's Water Environment practice.

Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
- PE licensure required.
- Recognized industry certification (e.g., QEP, CEP).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and GIS software.
- Experience in the design of stormwater, potable water, and wastewater systems.
- Proficiency with modeling software such as HEC-RAS, InfoWorks, GPS-X, PCSWMM, etc.
- Proficiency with regulatory requirements for areas of desired specialty such as FEMA, EPA, state, and local regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
