Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational support to Service Center Managers throughout the organization
- Work on a variety of projects from start to finish—helping project managers set budgets, basemap existing sites and utilities, collect field data, and lay the groundwork for successful designs
- Develop feasibility studies, master plans, and conceptual designs
- Turn ideas into detailed plans that clearly communicate design intent to contractors and owners
- Prepare drawings, grading and pipe layouts, hydrologic and hydraulic models, roadway designs, specifications, and impact analyses
- Gain field experience through construction observation and administration—helping connect design with real-world results and grow toward professional licensure
- Collaborate with various engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of design elements, details, changes, and full execution of projects
- Feel ownership over your project, drawings, and plans, especially as you see them get built in real life and move from cradle to grave in the project life-cycle
Qualifications
- Four-year degree from an accredited civil engineering program
- Passed FE exam
- Civil 3D/CAD experience
