What You'll Do
- Work collaboratively on a variety of project types and engineering tasks including:
- Land Development
- Storm water hydrology and hydraulics
- Storm Water Collection and Detention
- Water Distribution / Sanitary Sewer Collection
- Earthwork and Grading Design
- Civil engineering calculations
- Energy Markets
- Industrial, Commercial, and residential Sites
- Institutional / Education Sites
- Roadways / Corridors
- Streetscape Improvements
- Affiliate in assisting Project Manager
- Affiliate in production, permitting, jurisdictional coordination and meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- Internships / part-time work and/or CO-OPs is a plus
- 0 – 2+ years of experience in civil design
- Knowledge of commercial, residential, and general land development engineering, and project delivery is a plus
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and have a commitment to obtaining a Professional Engineering license
- Self-initiative, a sense of urgency, and a strong desire to work as a team
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of AutoCAD / Civil 3D / general civil engineering software packages
