Civil Engineer I

This position is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days/week on-site at our facility in Rock Hill, SC.

About the role

Develop expertise in the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants. Grow and develop extensive technical expertise in US and international nuclear markets. Work in teams to resolve critical issues impacting the construction and operation of nuclear power plants. Develop and maintain effective business relationships with Westinghouse customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (other disciplines will not be considered)
• 3.0+ GPA
• Passion for Technical Design and Analysis
• Eagerness to learn and master engineering software
• Desire to obtain E.I.T. with long-term goal of obtaining P.E.
• Values safety & quality
• Eager to learn the design and operation of pressurized water reactor (PWR) nuclear power plants
• Able to develop and deliver technical presentations for issues such as project status, problem resolution, and engineering recommendations

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $58,400 to $73,000 per year, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills.
