Civil Engineer I
About the role
AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer I for the Honolulu, HI office. The responsibilities of this position include building analytic and design skills, conducting engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer, and creating designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings. You will also collect and analyze data, use computer software for solving basic engineering problems, and perform work per agreed budget and schedule under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Builds analytic and design skills under supervision.
- Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings.
- Collects and analyzes data under supervision.
- Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
- Performs work per agreed budget and schedule under supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering and/or related experience or education.
Skills
- General knowledge of architectural and engineering drawings.
- Some knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
- Well organized and possesses an innovative mindset.

Pay
Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 yearly.
