Civil Engineer Consultant

About The Role

Aligned is seeking 25 talented Civil Engineers to join our team of AI industry consultants for immediate part-time, remote work supporting AI research. Projects begin at $45-70 USD / hour for newly approved experts, with potential to scale upwards of $150 USD / hour for high-performing experts.

Requirements

• A native or fluent English speaker and can confidently write at the university level.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• PE licensure is strongly preferred.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of professional civil engineering experience working on meaningful infrastructure projects at an engineering consultancy, government agency, contractor, or developer.
• Possess demonstrable expertise in areas such as structural analysis, transportation design, geotechnical engineering, water resources, construction management, or infrastructure planning.
• Possess exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to explain complex engineering concepts and technical recommendations clearly.

Pay

Projects are paid hourly, starting at $45-70 USD / hour for newly approved experts. Payments are made bi-weekly.

All jobs are fully remote with flexible hours.

Qualifications

You are a native or fluent English speaker and can confidently write at the university level.

You hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
