Responsibilities
- Design civil infrastructure projects under the direction of the Project Manager
- CAD drafting for municipal and land development projects
- Aid in the analysis of reports, maps, drawings, tests, and aerial photographs to plan and design projects
- Aid with civil engineering projects including needs and feasibility studies, asset management, stormwater management, and preparation of technical reports and documentation
- Aid with preparation of quantity takeoffs and preparation of construction cost estimates
- Aid with inspection of construction projects, infrastructure condition assessments, and survey as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
- One or more years of relevant municipal experience preferred
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, and Civil 3D preferred
- MDOT construction certifications desirable
