In the role of Site Civil Engineer, we'll count on you to: Lead and perform site studies, site development design, and preparation of contract documents for civil/site projectsDevelop and oversee site layout, grading, utility, drainage, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control designsApply engineering principles, standards, and regulatory requirements to develop practical and constructible design solutionsIndependently manage civil design tasks and deliverables for projects of varying size and complexityCoordinate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and permitting agencies throughout the design and construction processPrepare technical reports, specifications, calculations, cost estimates, and other project documentationProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and EITsAssist with project management responsibilities, including scope, schedule, budget, and coordination of civil/site design workServe as a technical lead on civil/site projects and support senior project managers and technical staff as neededPerform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications A minimum of 6 years of experience in progressive civil / site development engineering - 10 years experience is preferredProficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D and experience with civil engineering software such as HydroCAD, StormCAD, PondPack, FlowMaster, or similar platformsExperience with site development, grading, drainage, utility design, stormwater management, and permittingExperience providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staffDemonstrated ability to independently manage technical assignments and deliver quality work within established schedules and budgetsLocal candidates preferred Required Qualifications Bachelor's degreePrevious experience in general civil engineeringRequires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
