Civil Designer (EIT)

The Civil Designer 2 position is responsible for performing moderately complex calculations and comprehensive design services for a variety of civil engineering and site development projects.

- Site layout and grading
- Utility plans and profiles
- Tentative plans
- Permitting exhibits
- Construction plans
- Traffic control plans
- Erosion control plans
- Quantity takeoffs
- Specifications
- Technical reports and memos
- Storm calculations
- ADA designs
- Offsite improvements designs
- Permit applications
- Construction details and notes
- Services during construction (RFI and submittal review, construction observation and inspection, and record drawings)
- Understand budget and schedule
- Predict the level of effort for individual tasks and successfully deliver tasks within that level of effort
- Monitor results on moderately complex projects
- Understand and employ industry standards and regulations
- Respond to emails, attend meetings, and answer questions/comments with limited autonomy
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 2 years of experience required
- EIT/EI required

- Developing proficiency with drafting fundamentals and AutoCAD Civil 3D design software

Pay
The salary range for this position is $64,735.52 - $97,103.29. In addition to base salary, employees may be entitled to other forms of compensation depending on the type, duties, or location of the position.
Schedule
