Civil Design Technician

Overview

Kimley-Horn is seeking a CAD Operator to join their Land Development team in Vero Beach, Florida (FL).

Responsibilities

• Uses basic computer drafting software to generate site plans and construction drawings for Kimley-Horn projects.
• Designs and produces sets of plans; implements and manages AutoCAD drafting and plan preparation standards.
• Maintains drawing database.
• Performs routine analysis to check accuracy of data.
• Familiarizes themselves with Kimley-Horn's practices, procedures, and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associates in CADD/Drafting or related field preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Detail-oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter.
• Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills, and desire to learn.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
