Civil Design Tech I

Responsibilities

• Aid in the creation of engineering drawings using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Prepare figures, exhibits, maps, and plan sheets for project deliverables.
• Support designers and engineers with project production tasks.
• Adhere to established CAD standards and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures.
• Organize and maintain project files and documentation.
• Participate in project coordination meetings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams on various infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and drafting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective teamwork and communication abilities.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D from coursework, internships, or professional experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Interest in water resources, restoration, hydropower, or civil infrastructure projects.

Compensation Package

• Pay Range: $24.90 - $34.24/hr. (DOE).
