Civil CAD Technician

About the role

Delta 3 Engineering, Inc. is seeking a motivated person for a full-time position as a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Drafter in the Civil/Municipal discipline. Our firm offers a full-benefit package.

Responsibilities

• Draft construction documents and exhibits in Civil 3D
• Create alignments, profiles, and cross sections
• Assist with quantity takeoffs and plan revisions
• Coordinate with engineers and survey teams to ensure accurate, high-quality deliverables that meet project specifications and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Experience with modeling concepts, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
• Experience with Microsoft Office products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Understanding of local, state, and national regulations
• Ability to interpret national and local codes and standards to ensure compliance
• Team-oriented and capable of working with other staff members
• Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as required
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to our company’s insurance provider
