Civil CAD Technician

About the role

Our team is seeking a Civil Computer-Aided Design/Drafting (CAD) Technician for full-time employment. Applicants should be purpose-driven and indicate a strong interest in developing production proficiencies and standards in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Executes the assigned civil modeling tasks
• Develops sheet views of plans, details and notes from the Civil 3D/CAD model
• Maintains awareness of the production schedule for responsible task(s)
• Reviews completed tasks at key intervals for accuracy and completeness
• Assists with the development of internal drafting and modeling standards
• Assists in communicating with other disciplines and project team members to ensure overall project coordination
• Participates in team and company-wide meetings to discuss project issues, coordination with other disciplines and technical issues

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience with CAD/Civil 3D required
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite preferred
• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner both verbally and in writing
• Ability to problem-solve and collaborate on innovative solutions
• Ability to work in team environment
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
• Ability to effectively meet deadlines at expected level of quality

Pay

The expected base salary for this role is 60,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
