Civic Governance Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with local and state elected officials, civic leaders, and public-sector stakeholders.
- Serve as a point of contact for civic engagement initiatives within the Public Education Department.
- Cook up meetings, briefings, site visits, and public events involving civic and government stakeholders.

Public Education and Awareness
- Develop educational materials, briefing documents, fact sheets, and presentations tailored to civic and government audiences.
- Cook up facility tours, donor family engagements, and recognition opportunities involving public officials.
Community Partnerships
- Coordinate, establish, and strengthen community partnerships aligned with Public Education goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned community and civic partners.

Strategic Coordination
- Work closely with the Director of Community Partnerships and Communications to align civic engagement with broader communications and education strategies.
- Cook up strategic initiatives targeting underperforming partners and priority stakeholder groups.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure civic engagement and public education activities comply with organizational policies and applicable ethics guidelines.
- Track and report on meetings, outreach efforts, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Maintain accurate records of partnerships and civic outreach outcomes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in public administration, political science, public policy, communications, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in civic engagement, public education, community partnerships, or related work.
- Demonstrated experience working with civic leaders, community organizations, or public-sector stakeholders.
- Experience in healthcare, public health, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations preferred.
- Familiarity with local and state government processes are preferred.
- Experience working in regulated or public-facing environments preferred.
Salary Range
$75,000 - $82,000
