About the role
As a Community Affairs Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing community engagement strategies that enhance Teachers Federal Credit Union's reputation and support local initiatives.Responsibilities
- Develop and execute community outreach programs to foster relationships with local businesses and organizations.
- Coordinate events and activities that promote financial education and awareness among community members.
- Manage social media platforms to engage with the community and share credit union news and resources.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align community efforts with credit union goals.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field such as communications, public relations, or business administration.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in community development or similar roles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to speak publicly and interact effectively with diverse groups.
- Experience with event planning and management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
