About the role

As a Community Affairs Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing community engagement strategies that enhance Teachers Federal Credit Union's reputation and support local initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute community outreach programs to foster relationships with local businesses and organizations.
  • Coordinate events and activities that promote financial education and awareness among community members.
  • Manage social media platforms to engage with the community and share credit union news and resources.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align community efforts with credit union goals.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field such as communications, public relations, or business administration.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in community development or similar roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to speak publicly and interact effectively with diverse groups.
  • Experience with event planning and management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.

Pay

Schedule

The Community Affairs Specialist works Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend events.
