CITY LIFE MINISTRY SITE DIRECTOR

About the role

The City Life Ministry Site Director is responsible for leading and developing a team that implements a relational ministry model focused on 11-19-year-olds in urban communities. The role involves spiritual and organizational leadership, working with volunteers, and fostering authentic Christ-sharing relationships.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and maintain volunteer ministry leader team
• Create connections between local churches and the ministry site
• Provide training materials and ministry site standards
• Develop healthy 3 Story teams for each ministry site
• Ensure healthy and growing ministry at all sites
• Advocate for young people in the community
• Report progress and ministry updates to YFC
• Manage, facilitate, and serve in Relational Ministry Actions (RMAs)
• Direct the 3 Story Team at their site in accomplishing RMAs
• Establish and develop programming materials
• Train and evaluate ministry site leaders in curriculum materials

Spiritual Responsibilities

• Seek God’s guidance and wisdom through prayer and meditation
• Participate in regular prayer, devotion, and worship
• Teach and preach from the Holy Bible at YFC staff meetings, conferences, camps, and events
• Model empathy, humility, and care for all people

Knowledge & Skills

Credentials Required & Preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Three years of ministry experience
