MINISTRY SITE DIRECTOR

About the role

The Raymond Central Director is a position requiring spiritual and organizational leadership skills, the ability to work with and through other people, and strong communication skills. The director must be passionate about working with youth and sharing the hope offered through Christ.

Responsibilities

• Ministry Team Development (60%)

  • Recruit, train, and maintain volunteer ministry leader team to reach youth at Raymond Central in accordance with the processes found in the Knowledge Base
  • Create a strong connection with local churches
  • Provide training materials and ministry site standards for ministry volunteer leaders
  • Develop relationships with teens
  • Be an advocate in the community for young people
  • Report progress and ministry updates to YFC

• Relational Ministry Action Development (30%)

  • Lead small groups, clubs, events and trips
  • Establish and develop programming materials

• Spiritual Responsibilities

  • Seek God’s guidance and wisdom, through prayer and meditation, for the organization as a whole as well as for specific ministry initiatives.
  • Participate and lead regular times of prayer, devotion and worship as a regular aspect of your role within YFC.
  • Teach and preach from the Holy Bible at YFC staff meetings, conferences, camps and events.
  • Model empathy, humility and care for all people. This includes promoting equity and inclusion in word and in the practice of faith expression.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Three years of ministry experience
