Cisco EA Specialist
We help enterprises deliver on the promise of digital transformation by weaving together advances in cloud infrastructure, automation and analytics, and software delivery. We prioritize creating a culture of belonging, where all perspectives and voices are represented, valued, respected, and heard.
About the role
The Cisco EA Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of Cisco Enterprise Agreement (EA) renewals, True Forwards, and modifications on behalf of our client base. This role requires deep expertise in the Cisco EA program — including CX EA, SW EA, and Meraki EAs — and serves as the primary subject matter expert for EA quoting, True Forward execution, and EA-related processes. The specialist partners closely with Client Directors, the Cisco Renewal team, the Customer Success team, and Cisco directly to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality EA outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Cisco Enterprise Agreement renewals, including CX EA, SW EA, Security EA, and Meraki EA structures
- Engage in the True Forward process beginning at the 60-day pre-anniversary date handoff from the Customer Success (CX) team; take ownership of reading and interpreting True Forward reports, build budgetary and executable quotes, process orders in Salesforce, and coordinate with Cisco and TD SYNNEX
- Read and analyze True Forward reporting to identify when a Cross Suite Value Shift (CSVS) or Inter-Suite Value Shift (ISVS) has taken place, and incorporate those findings into quote creation and order processing
- Build and manage EA quotes within the EA Management Portal (EAMP); create sidecar quotes in CCW-R when applicable
- Support EA deal registration and maintain Letters of Customer Consent (LoCC) to ensure quoting eligibility and compliance
- Proactively manage the EA renewal window (90–120 days out), providing budgetary and executable quotes ahead of the anniversary date
- Demonstrate working knowledge of ALC subscription modifications, EA recasts, and EA modifications within and outside the 90-day renewal window
- Maintain clean and accurate EA pipeline data in Salesforce, including forecasting and opportunity documentation
- Provide guidance and best-practice support to Cisco Renewal Specialists on EA-related questions
- Partner with Operations and Finance teams on billing, margin, and True Forward cost reconciliation
Requirements
- 3–5 years of Cisco EA experience required; direct experience executing True Forwards and EA modifications is essential
- Proficiency in EAMP and working knowledge of CCW-R for sidecar quoting
- Understands the Cisco EA program structure including suites, tiers, True Forwards, CSVS, EGTFs, and co-term logic
- Experience working with Cisco AMs, Cisco CX teams, and TD SYNNEX on EA registrations and deal execution
- Strong understanding of Salesforce or other CRM platforms; ability to manage and maintain opportunity records
- Able to work independently on complex, multi-party deals with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable explaining EA concepts to sales teams and customers
- History of working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent renewal timelines
