Key Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in a large enterprise.
- Expert knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, including: Cisco Catalyst 9300, 9400, 9500, 9600 series switches. Cisco Nexus data center platforms.
- Strong CLI configuration and troubleshooting skills.
- Routing protocols: EIGRP and BGP.
- VRF‐lite for extended security segmentation.
- Basic Cisco Wireless support (verifying trunking/connectivity for Client).
- Strong experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama management.
- Familiarity with firewall concepts, NAT, VPNs, and security policies.
- Experience with BlueCat IPAM for IP address and DNS management.
- Knowledge of Solarwinds and Cisco Catalyst Center for monitoring and management.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
- Experience in Agile environments using JIRA.
- Strong problem‐solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Excellent communication skills for working with technical and non‐technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network incidents and minimize downtime.
- Implement network configuration changes, including VLAN updates, switchport changes, and routing adjustments.
- Use network monitoring tools (Solarwinds, Cisco Catalyst Center) to resolve performance issues.
- Manage Palo Alto firewalls and security policies through Panorama.
- Maintain IP address and DNS records via BlueCat IPAM.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure network performance for business applications.
- Work on projects within Agile methodology using JIRA.
- Maintain detailed documentation for network configurations and troubleshooting.
